Vachellia nilotica is a flowering plant tree in the family Fabaceae. It is native to Africa, the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent
you can identify babul tree by their spikes. babul have long white colour spikes. but spikes is tree quantity giving less by there age. if tree is about 15-20 years old then this tree's spikes is less spikes then 2 years old tree's spikes.
this tree is mostly found in dry area like near and on mountains, and in summer season their leafs getting down to suffer summer.

its quit risky to plant this tree to anywhere because of spikes. this trees spikes are very hard and long its very harmful if spike stuck in your any body part mostly in legs. spikes in nearly 1 to 2.5 inches long. spikes are not poisonous but because of size its quit dangerous. these tree lose there spikes everyday these spikes are on ground this is dangerous to not only for living lives but also for your light weight vehicles like cycle and bike. that way you don't thing to plant tree in your garden area or public place or populated area. you can plant these tree plant in non populated area or land and after planting look clearly if you walking nearly to these tree.
